This guide walks you through how to perform a basic search on LinkedIn and import the results into LinkedClient for outreach or sales purposes.
Step 1: Start Your LinkedIn Search
- Log in to your LinkedIn account.
- In the top search bar, enter the keywords you're interested in (e.g., Data Scientist).
- Click on the "People" tab to filter results to individual profiles.
- Then click "See all people results" to open the full search results page.
Step 2: Apply Filters
- Use the available filters on the left side of the page.
- Recommended filters include:
- Connection level: 2nd degree
- Location: e.g., Poland
- Keep in mind: a basic LinkedIn search allows exporting up to 500 people.
Step 3: Copy the LinkedIn Search URL
- After applying your filters, go to the top of your browser.
- Copy the entire URL of the search results page.
