Connecting your LinkedIn account allows LinkedClient to personalise and automate your outreach using your professional network. Here’s how to connect it in just a few steps.
Step 1: Start LinkedIn Connection
- Go to your Settings on the LinkedClient platform.
- Under Sales Channels, click Connect LinkedIn.
- A window will open, prompting you to enter your LinkedIn email and password.
Step 2: Handle LinkedIn Security Prompts
Depending on your LinkedIn security settings, you might be asked to complete additional verification steps:
In-App Validation
You’ll see a prompt titled “LinkedIn Confirmation Needed - In App Validation”. Open the LinkedIn app on your mobile phone and approve the login request.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Check your email or SMS for a 6-digit code. Enter it into the field labelled “Enter Verification Code” and click Verify Code.
Phone Number Confirmation
If prompted, enter your phone number (with international code, e.g., +46701234567). This completes the authentication automatically.
CAPTCHA Verification
Complete the CAPTCHA to confirm you're not a robot.
Troubleshooting Messages You May See
Your LinkedIn account is disconnected
This may happen if your password has changed or your session has expired. Click Reconnect.
There is an issue with your LinkedIn account
Please try reconnecting. Contact support if it persists.
LinkedIn Confirmation hasn’t been completed on time
The 5-minute window expired. Click Try Again to restart.
LinkedIn Account Connection Issue
This may be caused by incorrect credentials or unfinished verification. Double-check and retry.
An additional verification step is required
Follow the instructions and click Proceed to Next Step.
LinkedIn Confirmation Unsuccessful
Your verification details were incorrect. Please try again.

Final Step: Confirmation
When everything works, you’ll see:
