The AI Settings section allows you to define how Elsie communicates, follows up, and pushes conversations forward. These settings directly influence how the underlying language model behaves in real conversations, shaping tone, structure, urgency, and persistence.
Think of this section as defining Elsie’s personality and negotiation strategy. Instead of manually guiding every message, you configure the behavioural framework once, and the AI applies it consistently across all conversations.
IMPORTANT: Please check your Self-Learning section and combine it with these AI settings for the best results.
1. Sales Style
Sales Style determines the overall communication approach Elsie will use when interacting with your contacts. This setting influences tone, structure of arguments, emotional positioning, and how offers are presented.
Relationship
Focuses on building long-term trust and rapport. Conversations prioritise connection, understanding, and value before pitching. This style works best for warm audiences, partnerships, and high-trust industries.
Consultative
Position Elsie as an advisor. She asks diagnostic questions, explores pain points, and recommends solutions based on identified needs. Ideal for complex products or longer sales cycles where discovery is important.
Solution Oriented
Assumes the prospect has a known problem. Elsie positions your product or service as the direct and tailored solution. Messaging is clear, focused, and benefit-driven. This is often effective for audiences already aware of their challenges.
Direct
Straight to the point. Elsie focuses on features, value, pricing, and clear calls to action. This approach minimises small talk and is optimised for faster decision-making.
Hard / High-Pressure
Uses urgency-driven language and scarcity tactics. Encourages faster decisions and pushes more assertively toward booking or closing. This style should be used carefully and only when appropriate for the audience.
Selecting the right sales style ensures consistency across all outreach and follow-ups. The AI will adjust sentence structure, persuasion strategy, and tone according to your chosen approach.
2. Aggressiveness Level
The Aggressiveness Level slider controls how strongly Elsie pushes toward booking a meeting or moving the conversation forward.
- Very Passive (1–3): Gentle nudges, soft follow-ups, and minimal pressure.
- Neutral (4–6): Balanced persistence with polite but clear calls to action.
- Very Aggressive (7–9): Stronger push toward booking, shorter decision timelines, and more direct closing attempts.
This setting affects:
- How quickly Elsie reintroduces a call-to-action
- How directly she asks for meetings
- The tone of reminders and follow-ups
- How persistent she remains after no response
Higher aggressiveness does not mean being rude. It means the AI prioritises forward momentum and conversion more strongly.
3. Minimum Time Between Follow-Ups (Days)
This setting defines the minimum delay between follow-up messages.
For example:
- Short interval (1–3 days): Faster-paced outreach cycles.
- Medium interval (4–10 days): Balanced nurturing approach.
- Long interval (10+ days): Slower, relationship-focused cadence.
The AI will respect this timing before initiating the next follow-up. This ensures outreach does not feel spammy while maintaining consistency.
How These Settings Work Together
All three settings combine to shape Elsie’s behavioural model:
- Sales Style defines communication strategy.
- Aggressiveness defines conversion pressure.
- Follow-Up Timing defines cadence.
For example:
- A Relationship style with low aggressiveness and long intervals creates a soft, nurturing approach.
- A Direct style with high aggressiveness and short intervals creates a fast-closing outreach system.
- A Consultative style with neutral aggressiveness supports discovery-based selling.
Best Practices
- Align your Sales Style with your target audience and industry norms.
- Use higher aggressiveness only when your offer and audience justify it.
- Avoid extremely short follow-up intervals for cold audiences.
- Revisit these settings if you notice booking rates are too low or conversations feel too slow.
Important Note
These settings influence how the AI language model generates messages. While Elsie operates autonomously, her tone, structure, and persistence are directly shaped by the configuration you define.
Adjusting these options allows you to fine-tune outreach performance without rewriting scripts or manually supervising each conversation.
